Grooming Appointments

All grooming appointments are carried out with your pet’s comfort, wellbeing, and safety as our highest priority. Grooming is provided on a one-to-one basis wherever possible, in a calm and gentle environment.

We reserve the right to adjust or stop a grooming session if we believe continuing would cause undue stress, discomfort, or risk to your pet. In such cases, you will be charged for the time and work already carried out.

Health & Behaviour

Owners must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, skin issues, mobility concerns, or behavioural sensitivities before the appointment. This includes nervousness, previous grooming difficulties, or aggression.

We cannot accept pets that are unwell, have contagious conditions, or have not been appropriately treated for fleas unless agreed in advance.

Fleas

If fleas are discovered during grooming, we may need to stop the session and apply appropriate treatment. An additional fee may apply.

Matting

Severely matted coats can cause discomfort and health issues. Where matting is present, clipping may be the kindest and safest option. We will always prioritise your pet’s welfare over cosmetic outcomes.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.

Liability

While every care is taken, grooming carries inherent risks, especially for elderly, anxious, or sensitive pets. By booking an appointment, you agree that grooming is carried out at your own risk. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that may become apparent during or after grooming.
